Eric Crowther joined Engel Law as an associate in 2020, with an interest in obtaining relief for those whose Charter or human rights have been transgressed by the state.
After being admitted to the Law Society of Alberta, Eric started at a general practice firm and gained experience in personal injury law and other civil litigation. As he began to pursue his interest in the area of criminal defence, Eric discovered a shortage of lawyers who specialize in assisting clients who have been directly harmed by the justice system, and he redirected his focus to address that need.
Eric was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. Before returning to his hometown to attend law school at the University of Alberta, Eric attended the University of North Texas on a classical music scholarship, where he studied trumpet performance.
