Chris helps clients with lawsuits against police and prisons in the Court of King’s Bench, and administrative complaints against police and peace officers.

Chris was born in Camrose and graduated high school in Grande Prairie before moving to Edmonton for University. He attended the University of Alberta Faculty of Law from 2017-2020, articled at Calgary Legal Guidance, and was called to the Alberta bar in 2021.

Prior to law school, Chris studied music and worked for two years as a housing first worker in Edmonton. During law school, he coordinated the Student Legal Services Legal Education & Reform Project, where he distributed legal information to Edmontonians who are unhoused and co-wrote a report about the disproportionate number of tickets and bans that people with No Fixed Address receive on transit.

In his spare time, Chris skips rocks and plays music with friends.
